Winter Sports Overview
As winter sports come to a close, this season marks an important chapter for our athletic program. With new coaching leadership for both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, this year focused heavily on growth, development, and setting the foundation for future success.
The boys’ and girls’ basketball teams showed determination throughout the season, adjusting to new systems and building chemistry on and off the court. While the season came with challenges, both teams demonstrated resilience, competitive energy, and flashes of the potential that will continue to develop in the years ahead. This season was less about the scoreboard and more about progress, effort, and establishing a new culture.
Boys’ and girls’ soccer once again proved to be a strong point for our school. Both teams competed at a high level and represented the school with pride throughout the season. The boys’ soccer team faced a difficult and emotional moment midseason with the tragic loss of a teammate. Despite this hardship, the team showed unity, strength, and perseverance, leaning on one another and honoring their teammate through their continued effort and commitment on the field.
Boys’ wrestling had an impressive winter, with athletes putting in hard work that paid off in strong performances throughout the season. The team’s discipline, conditioning, and competitive mindset were on full display, making this another successful year for the program.
Girls’ competitive cheer also had a standout season, showcasing precision, athleticism, and dedication. Their routines reflected countless hours of preparation, and the team continued to raise the standard for excellence and school spirit.
Girls’ weightlifting rounded out the winter sports season with strength and consistency. The team showed major improvements, personal records, and a strong sense of camaraderie, proving that hard work in the weight room truly pays off.
Overall, this winter sports season highlighted perseverance, growth, and unity across all programs. As we look ahead to spring sports and future seasons, the lessons learned this winter will continue to shape our athletes and our athletic community.

| Baseball enters this season under new leadership following the loss of last year’s head coach. Despite that transition, the team showed resilience and strength to finish last season with a strong run, proving the program’s depth and determination. With new coaching and returning talent, expectations are high for another successful year on the field, even with a shorter game schedule than previous seasons. | Flag football continues to be one of the strongest programs in the area. Coming off a season where the team was just one step away from a state run, they enter this spring as serious contenders. With their speed, discipline, and chemistry, the team is widely expected to make another deep run and represent the school at a high level. | Track and field also looks to build on its reputation of excellence. Year after year, the team delivers strong performances across multiple events, and this season is expected to be no different. With depth, talent, and consistent coaching, the program is positioned for another standout year. | Spring football is also underway, following one of the most successful regular football seasons the school has had in years. After a deep playoff run that ended late in the postseason, the team now shifts its focus to development, preparation, and building momentum for the upcoming fall season. With strong leadership and returning players, spring football is expected to reflect the same intensity and competitiveness seen last season. | Girls’ softball enters the season with determination and growing confidence. The team continues to develop each year, and this season presents an opportunity for growth, improvement, and new achievements. With dedication and consistency, the program is aiming for a strong and successful spring. | Beach volleyball also begins the season under new coaching leadership. After a solid performance last year, the team looks to continue building its program and strengthening team chemistry. Although the schedule includes fewer games this season, expectations remain high for continued growth and competitiveness. | Tennis rounds out the spring sports lineup, continuing to be a consistent presence in the school’s athletic program. With athletes focused on discipline, skill development, and match performance, the team remains an important part of the spring sports season. |
As spring sports begin, the energy across campus continues to grow. With new leadership, returning talent, and high expectations across multiple programs, this season promises excitement, competition, and school pride as our athletes take the field, track, and court once again.
